Description
š² Val Grande ā Two days in the wild heart of the Alps
An unforgettable experience in the Val Grande National Park, the largest wilderness area in Italy. Here, nature reigns supreme: imposing beech forests, crystal-clear streams, silent clearings, and ancient abandoned villages that tell stories of a distant past. Two intense, authentic, and genuine days, where time seems to slow down and allows us to rediscover a deep connection with the mountains.
š Detailed program
First day
- Departure from the village of Cicogna (734 m), known as the ācapitalā of Val Grande.
- Hike along ancient paths immersed in beech forests.
- Stop at the Casa dellāAlpino, a panoramic balcony overlooking the entire valley.
- Descent towards Pogallo, a fascinating place rich in history and memory.
- Arrival at Pian di Boit, a secluded and silent clearing, where we will spend the night in a simple and spartan structure: an authentic refuge, which offers a warm and genuine atmosphere away from the daily frenzy.
Second day
- Breakfast and departure along a new itinerary, to explore still uncontaminated forests, streams, and clearings.
- Hike immersed in the autumnal colors of beeches and larches.
- Return to Cicogna in the afternoon, completing a loop that allows us to experience the valley in all its authenticity.
