This hike to Rifugio Venezia, nestled beneath the dramatic cliffs of Monte Pelmo – known as the “Throne of the Eternal Father” – is a journey through wild nature, geological wonders, and pure alpine beauty. We'll walk along panoramic trails winding through forests of fir and larch, cross quiet mountain pastures, and admire one of the most iconic massifs of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. Guide

Jacopo

Hi, I'm Jacopo, a certified hiking guide since 2014. I'm from Bassano del Grappa, and I mostly lead trips in the mountains, from the quieter, wilder Venetian Prealps to the stunning landscapes of the Dolomites. On my hikes, I love to share the history of these places and the people who lived here before us, recounting fascinating local legends and searching for the area's unique flora and fauna. I'm an avid reader, and it's not unusual for me to open a book during a hike, deep in the forest or on a secluded hilltop, and read a passage aloud. Words can lighten our steps and free our minds from the present moment, allowing us to embrace a moment of eternity. I can't wait to guide you on your next adventure!
