Description
An autumn loop above Lake Garda, with the forest lit up in color.
We set off with the Guidders from Tenno, the medieval village that kicks things off, and head straight into the woods: the climb gets serious between km 4 and 5, where the trail gains height through beech and larch trees turning gold and rust in the autumn light. We climb to the highest point of the loop, nearly 976 meters, wrapped in the warm glow of the afternoon sun filtering through the branches. From there we start descending, with one steep but fun stretch before an easy return to the starting point: the loop closes exactly where it began.
Tenno isn't just a name on the map: its medieval castle and stone village tell centuries of Trentino history, with Lake Tenno turning turquoise just below in summer.

Hi Guidders! My name is Stefania, and I was born and raised in Limone sul Garda, a place where mountains meet the lake to create truly spectacular scenery. The mountains have always been part of my life, but it was around the age of 25 that I began to experience them more consciously—and from that moment on, it was love at first sight. My training with the Lombardy Alpine Guides Association gave me the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of the mountain environment, from geology and botany to wildlife and weather. Every outing is a new chance to keep learning and to be amazed by everything nature has to offer. My goal is to guide you in discovering the mountains in a safe, relaxed, and engaging way.
