Zanetti, Zulino and Campagano: Conquer three peaks overlooking Valcanale!

A true winter challenge: three peaks in a single panoramic loop above Valcanale, amidst snowy ridges and the silence of high altitude. The stars: Monte Zanetti (1,712 m), Monte Zulino (1,757 m) and Monte Campagano (2,053 m).

The route starts with a spectacular view of the natural amphitheater that embraces Pizzo Arera, Corna Piana and Valmora. From there, it ascends eastward along a little-traveled route, touching three wild but incredibly panoramic peaks.

The most technical section comes after the Forcella di Zulino, from which the final ascent to Campagano begins, a mountain that looks like it came out of a Christmas postcard. The descent closes the loop with arrival at the Rifugio Alpe Corte, perfect for a celebratory toast.

Limited length, but significant elevation gain: about 1,200 m. You need trained legs, a desire to go, and a good pace. In return? One of the most complete and panoramic excursions in the eastern Orobie.
